Qwince’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gianmarco Troia was involved in this year’s WHINN Week, hosted in Odense, Denmark.
Gianmarco, together with Helen Boorman from Cardiocity Ltd (a strategic partner of Qwince), gave a keynote speech on the 22th October 2015 during the European Telehealth and Telemedicine conference.
The keynote was entitled “New devices transforming medical adherence and mass screening“.
The adherence to treatment prescription and therapy effectiveness are key pillars for the future of national healthcare national systems. Education and technology can be used as drivers, while patients demand more choice and involvement in their treatment.
Qwince presented the Alchimya platform and spoke about how new technologies can facilitate medication compliance, healthy life-styles and patient monitoring by integrating the Internet of Things applications, mobile and wearable devices.
During the keynote, Qwince and Cardiocity Ltd provided a demo of RhythmPad for cardiac screening and atrial fibrillation monitoring. The objective was to show how a simplified patient’s monitoring can provide precious data to Alchimya, our medical adherence platform.
