Qwince involved in an oncological therapies research project

The pharmaceutical research requires significant investments due to the fragmentation of data (unstructured and heterogeneous data) and the huge amount of information to process. OBIND Project – Oncological therapies through Biological Interaction Network Discovery aims to design and implement an integrated system which, using new algorithms and federated databases, is able to facilitate the screening process for oncological therapies. This system will let the researchers aggregate and analyse heterogeneous data set to forecast the interaction between oncological altered molecules, in order to identify new therapies.
Qwince, in partnership with Exprivia, Fondazione Ri.MED., CNR, Innovation Company, OS2 and the University of Palermo, will contribute to this innovative project to identify new methodologies and technologies in pharmaceutical products development.
